Insulating plates (IP) are prefabricated construction elements intended for thermal insulation of building constructions and for building partition and installation walls.
For thermal insulation of concrete and reinforced-concrete outside (facade) elements as ring beams and vertical columns, door and window lintels and additional thermal insulating of outside (facade) walls. Insulating plates are placed before pouring concrete, so it also  represents "lost" formwork.
As in the case of masonry blocks, final or facade  finishing layer can be performed with lime-cement mortar, thermal mortars and similar.
If the partition walls are constructed by construction glue, than the finishing layer can be done only as a layer of smoothing mass.
Standard dimensions of insulating plates are: height 25 cm; length 60 cm, and they can be produced in width (thickness) of 7,5cm;10cm;12,5cm;15cm and 17,5cm.
